Cryptosporidium Analysis
Severn Trent Services can carry out Cryptosporidium and Giardia analysis. To ensure our customers receive legally defensible results, we participate in a monthly External Quality Assurance scheme demonstrating excellent recovery levels and Microscopic identification from our expert analysts. Our UKAS accredited laboratory in Coventry is one of the largest facilities in Europe.
We can perform Cryptosporidium testing on samples taken from:
- Potable water
- Rivers
- Swimming pools
- Water treatment works
- Gravel or sand sites
We can also provide a Cryptosporidium identifcation service which will categorise any isolated Cryptosporidum into Cryptosporidum parvum or hominis and other genotyoes.
