Equipment Hire

For customers wanting to manage their own monitoring, Severn Trent Services offer a range of Equipment for Hire. Suitable for water quality monitoring, the equipment is managed and maintained by our qualified in-house team and is available on short or long-term hire.

For routine ground water monitoring we have a variety of analytical and geotechnical tools available to for hire.  Our most popular monitoring tool is the Multiparameter which uses one probe to analyse up-to 13 parameters in one exposure. This tool allows multiple analytes to be tested at the same time to ensure that the sample analysed for pH, Dissolved Oxygen, EC, Temperature is the same sample for all parameters.

In addition to our analytical tools available our Equipment for Hire division also offer a variety of Dipmeter instruments at varying lengths. The tools tool can be used in conjunction with our Solinst Oil Interface Meter which measures hydrocarbons at both the NAPL and DNAPL stages.

For more frequent analysis of wastewater testing for hydrocarbons we are able to offer the SiteLAB UVF3100 which can be used to monitor PRO, DRO, PAH and PCBs all from one sample point. The data can be monitored against standard calibrations and can also be exported and plotted against the calibration and blank standards.
