Onsite Analysis (Soils)

Onsite analysis provides a reliable, rapid and cost effective method of investigation for contaminated land remediation. ALS Environmental offer a range of  tools for soils, associated water and gases, which include: VOC’s, SVOC’s, TIC’s, Waste Characterisation Suites, and a wide range of other determinands.

Onsite tools deliver almost immediate analytical results and can be used to identify areas of contamination quickly and precisely, taking high numbers of samples in a short space of time. Because the tools can be used to identify contamination hotspots more accurately, material from these areas can be precisely removed reducing the volume of material needing costly treatment or landfill disposal. This approach enables work to continue for areas of the site that have been identified as clean whilst accredited laboratory analysis is conducted on those areas identified as potentially contaminated, in line with regulatory requirements.
